IDTA BALLET AWARDS
Hannah Moore has been awarded a Scholarship to attend the 2009 IDTA Ballet Awards in Manchester after gaining 90 marks for Intermediate Ballet - she will be joining Sophie Slawson and Lucie Tipping who gained 90 and 92 marks for Intermediate Ballet.

Gina Pollitt has been awarded a Scholarship to attend the 2009 IDTA Modern Jazz Awards in Manchester after gaining 91 marks for Grade 4 Modern Jazz.

Ashleigh Frost aged 11 has been offered a place on the Pre-Senior Ballet Course at Tring Park to commence in September.

Ruby Greenwood aged 9 has successfully auditioned for the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates. Ruby will start her course at Birmingham Royal Ballet in September.

Nottingham Festival Results 2008
The School have enjoyed an amazingly successful competition this year ending with the presentation of the TSB TROPHY for the Teacher gaining highest number of marks overall.

Three pupils were picked by Adjudicator Miss Claire Jennings LRAD ARAD PGCA AISTD AIDTA to perform in the Bursary - ASHLEIGH FROST (11), INDIA LINLEY (10) and JADE TOLLEY (8).

Our Adult Tappers succeeded in upholding the Winners Trophy in the Adult Groups Category for the second year running.

100% of pupils achieved 80 marks + with 8 pupils gaining 90 marks +.
Four pupils were recommended by the Examiner for The IDTA Ballet Awards to be held in Manchester in March 2009:

SHOWCASE 2008
The Schools' bi-annual Showcase was held at The Nottingham Playhouse on Sunday 1 June. Over 200 pupils thoroughly enjoyed performing and were enthusiastically received by a very appreciative audience.

ENGLISH YOUTH BALLET
Ruby Greenwood, Laura Ellis, Alexandra Hoskins and Ashleigh Frost have successfully auditioned for The English Youth Ballets' production of Giselle which will be performed at the Nottingham Theatre Royal in August.
